Every employer account is reviewed by a human before it can publish a role or browse Talent. We check the company, the domain and the person requesting access. Accounts that fail review cannot see candidate profiles or videos.

Your visibility setting decides everything: verified employers, only the roles you apply to, or hidden. Your elevator pitch appears in the Talent feed only if you switch it on. Nothing is public on the open web or indexed by search engines, and every playback uses a short-lived private link. Change any of it in Privacy & safety.

An automated check runs on each clip to confirm it shows a real person speaking and meets the minimum length. Anything it flags is hidden from employers and queued for human review. We remove content that is sexual, violent, hateful, deceptive, or that belongs to someone else.

Every profile, role and message has a Report control. Reports are confidential — the person you report is never told who reported them — and are reviewed by our team. Blocking someone stops new messages in both directions immediately; you can manage blocked accounts in your settings.

Employers must follow applicable employment and anti-discrimination law. Voluntary self-identification answers are shown to employers only as anonymous aggregates, only once at least five people have answered, and never alongside an application. Xenia does not rank, score or filter candidates using those answers.

AI helps you — it does not decide about you. We use it to draft profile fields from a résumé you upload, suggest talking points before you record, and screen clips for the safety rules above. AI never rejects an application and never ranks candidates for an employer. You can edit or discard anything it suggests.

If recording video isn't accessible to you, request an alternative in Privacy & safety and we'll arrange a written or audio route with the employer. Xenia supports keyboard navigation, screen readers and captions on recorded videos.

A legitimate employer on Xenia will never ask you to pay for an interview, buy equipment up front, send identity documents before an offer, or move immediately to an unrelated messaging app. Report anything like this — it takes one click and it helps everyone.
